Good Luck Brian

Pack 729 Bids a fond farwell io our Cubmaster Brian Burke. Brian has taken a new job and moved his family to the New England area where we hope they prosper and continue to add to their scouting adventure. Although we have lost a great leader, in the true spirit of scouting another parent has stepped forward to take his place. Before his departure Brian, Cassia and the pack committee worked together to recruit Matthew Ullom as our new Cubmaster. Matthew will assume responsibilities of the Pack this fall.

June Campout

Pack 729 kicked off the summer in true scouting style when they invited families as well as Pack 159 to join them on their June campout.

Families and scout's enjoyed campfire cooked meals and activities that put smiles on everyones face at Camp Miakonda in Toledo, this June.

Pack 729's own Camping Chairperson Jacki D.,Camp Masters Terry D. Pack 729 and Mike S. Pack 159,and parents from both packs joined forces to make this a camp to remember. Scouts spent their time hunting fossiles at Fossile Park in Sylvania Ohio, and learning about the war of 1812 through the eyes of a soilder, while touring Fort Meigs in Perrysburge Ohio.

Saturday nights camp fire had scouts laughing so hard their cheeks hurt. Scouts from both Packs performed skits and songs such as I Had a Darn Chicken, and Gravity Check for their parents and fellow scouts. The evening came to a close around a flag retirement cerimony in which every scout participated.
